Dr. Owen “Jay” LaCour III MD is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, retina care and general eye care. A proud New Orleans native and Jesuit High School graduate, Dr. LaCour earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his medical degree from the LSU School of Medicine New Orleans where he completed his residency in ophthalmology in 1999 after graduating in 1994. Dr LaCour is Board Certified in Ophthalmology since 2000. With a commitment to excellence and patient-centered care, Dr. LaCour combines advanced surgical skill with a compassionate approach to help patients achieve and maintain their best possible vision.
