A Retirement Note From Dr. Cerise to His Patients

To my patients,
I’m certain most if not all of you have received a notice from my practice that as of August 26, 2025, I will be retired. I feel blessed that for the past 44 years I have had the opportunity to enjoy a profession I have found both gratifying and rewarding. I can honestly say that I looked forward to “work” every day. In no small part that is thanks to the talented doctors I have worked with, the dedicated staff whose help has been so greatly appreciated, and last, but certainly not least, to the many patients who have chosen to put their trust in me to care for the incredible gift of their vision.
I wanted to personally tell each of you how much I have enjoyed and appreciated our time together. I will miss being your eye doctor but look forward to spending more time with my grandchildren, traveling, doing volunteer work, reconnecting with friends, and finding other ways to fill my days.
One last request. Since I won’t be seeing you in the office anymore, if you see me out and about, please come over and say hi. You will be missed!!
